A new twist on standard french toast recipes. This Marmalade French Toast Recipe makes great use of our Lemon, Lime & Orange Marmalade.
Ingredients
- 4 thick slices of brioche
- 4 Tbsp Wild Appetite Lemon, Lime & Orange Marmalade
- 4 Tbsp ricotta
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ Tbsp castor sugar
- Oil
- Icing sugar
Method
Spread 2 slices of the bread with ricotta, followed by a layer of marmalade, and top with another slice of bread. Press together firmly. Whisk together eggs, milk and sugar. Heat a little oil in a non stick pan, over medium heat. Dip sandwiches into egg mix briefly, and then fry for 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden. Dust with icing sugar.
